| This 48 scale Tamiya Do 335A1 was built some years ago, as the {Captured} subject was seen in a magazine, having decided to build my kit into a Captured Do 335, that was test flown by the {ATAIU} in RAF markings, as Tamiya had just released their third production kit as the Do 335B2, which had the decal option in the kit of an aircraft the French had captured and test flown shortly after the war ended. My Do 335A1 is RLM 70 / RLM 71 over RLM 65 from the Model Master enamels range, on the forward fuselage section only, the bare metal is Tamiya AS-12, the decals used are the OOP AeroMaster RAF late type roundels, taken from the spares box.
With exception of the decals this model is OOB. NOTE:- I have built several of these unique aircraft, in either the A1 or A12 configuration. | |
