This 72 scale Trumpeter kit is another of those that belong too Matt, it is a direct down scale from their 48 scale kit and has around 160 parts, the instructions on building this bird was as per the kit with the RAF decal option depicting the early war style of roundels and fin flash, the camouflage scheme is all Model Master enamels and painting of this build was done in reverse, by applying the Dark Earth / Dark Green followed by the Night.

One thing with this aircraft type is that a large percentage is a geodetic frame covered with canvas, hence I painted the metal surfaces as a straight mix and when dry then masked the metal covered area's, before masking them off and made up another mix slightly faded {adding Yellow to the Dark Earth and White to the Dark Green, before applying a coat to the canvas coverings across the airframe.

When you go home tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow we gave our today.

Those that never learn from history will always repeat it.
