F16cj {Block 50} Fighting Falcon Empty
PostSubject: F16cj {Block 50} Fighting Falcon   F16cj {Block 50} Fighting Falcon EmptyFri Aug 09 2013, 08:36

This Tamiya 48 scale {kit # 98}, was the first kit of the F16c Falcon Family, {that I bought second hand soon after the follow up kit was released}. Which was the first of the F 16 kits released from Tamiya {and a direct down scale of their 32 scale kit}, my subject is an OOB build complete with kit decals, depicting the aircraft of the Squadron Leader from the USAF 79th F.S. 20th F.G. {Tiger Meet} Buckley Air Force Base, Colorado during August 2001. Model is painted in Model Master enamels, as per instructions and as this aircraft was kept in a clean appearance no weathering has been done on the airframe, only the after burner cone has been weathered using the Tamiya Weathering Master set. The kit canopy was painted in Tamiya Acrylic Smoke, {applied to the inside}, the seat was covered in tissue to replicate a textured surface and had the harness decal added after painting.
The subject was built closed up.
