| Belongs to Matt. It is the original 48 scale kit from Tamiya, first released in 1975, as this was a Swap Meet buy, the kit had a receipt inside dated 1995 and had been started, the main wings and tail planes had been assembled, the fuselage had been previously assembled but the two halves had been separated. Matt in his usual state of bewilderment has to have Bimbo's on the nose art, as this kit is "S" Sugar and a B I series, he wanted it converted to the B III series {which is the currant re-tooled Tamiya kit}, therefore some parts had to be swapped over. This is also an entry to the 2014 Melbourne Model Expo having joined the fuselage halves together and test fitting the turrets, I proceeded to paint the model. Upper surfaces are the Gunze Acrylics of RAF Dark Earth / Dark Green and applied freehand, the main wings and tail planes will be removed so that masking of the fuselage can be finished and ready for the Black coat of paint. | |
