Russian T-90 Empty
PostSubject: Russian T-90   Russian T-90 EmptyFri Oct 31 2014, 01:18

This Out Of Box Build is one of the new MENG modern day kits, depicting a Russian T-90 from their 35 scale range, it is a complex model, that will test the modeller, as it has complete engine and transmission detail, individual track links {to a degree}, P.E., a workable suspension and clear parts. The instructions depict 6 options in 3 schemes.
The paint scheme I chose was of a unit that was in the Georgian conflict and is painted using the Gunze range of paints applied free hand and weathered slightly with oils, then followed by several coats of Gunze flat clear.
I mentioned the individual track links, well 420 small pieces make up the 80 links required for the model.
