Tamiya's 32 scale Spitfire Mk VIII kit #60320, this is the kit that has an R.A.A.F. decal option, for A58-602 {sadly the decal sheet does not have the 56" diameter upper wing roundels}, the main wing, engine and most of the engine mounting frame have been assembled, the cockpit detail so far is a collection of sub assemblies, the instrument panel is made up from 4 pieces and a photo etched centre plate, the instruments are 3 separate decals, applied to the back of the clear lens parts, the gunsight is the next addition to the instrument panel before it is glued to the bulkhead.

The armour plate sections that are behind the pilot seat are Photo Etch as supplied in the kit.
The cockpit sidewalls are test fitted only to each fuselage half.
