PostSubject: Tamiya's old Tirpitz   Wed May 22 2013, 15:56

This is the original Tamya 350 scale Tirpitz subject, over the years it has been re-issued but never updated, as the kit is a basic model that is more of a motorized toy, yes it is another of those kits that belong to Matt and that I have been building. Revell have released this subject in the same scale and their offering is a much more up to date kit. The camouflage scheme that is applied to this build is the 1943 application.

This is the progress that this subject got to before it was put aside All paints are from the Humbrol Enamel range and this scheme is copied from the Revell instruction sheet.

When you go home tell them of us and say, for your tomorrow we gave our today.

Those that never learn from history will always repeat it.
