What If V.W. New Beetle Empty
PostSubject: What If V.W. New Beetle   What If V.W. New Beetle EmptyThu May 23 2013, 05:00

This Tamiya New Beetle was part of a Hobby HQ clearance package, 10 car kits @15.00 each, I was able to choose a couple that I wanted, but this one was part of what Willie included, it was finished in a polished Silver, but not liking the canary Yellow plastic, I came up with the idea of doing a 'WHAT IF' as a German Staff Car. I entered this model in the 2011 club competition and soon after was sold.

All external colours applied to this subject are from the Humbrol Gloss Enamel range of paints, the Pink was applied first, masked over and followed by the Orange and masked over, followed by the Red and masked over, before the Purple was added, the decals are from the Spares Box, originally a Dornier Do 335A1. The Yellow interior is per the kit, the purple reflective material is a shelf adhesive film that was trimed to fit the areas it is applied too.
