Japanese Navy I-58 Empty
PostSubject: Japanese Navy I-58   Japanese Navy I-58 EmptyTue May 21 2013, 04:02

This 350 scale Tamiya offering of the I-58 Submarine, has been left in this condition due to the following:-
Matt asked me early in 2011 to build this kit for Model Expo, all very well in saying he has ideas to flood my time with his kits for Expo. Having built it and kept my part, Matt who needs 4 pair of glasses, to see anything at all, but can't see any fine detail and breaks the photo etched railing from the model while getting out the door. So much for the I-58 being at Expo.
The paints used on this build are all Acrylics from the Gunze Sangyo range. The model requires a flat coat and weathering to complete it after replacing the photo etched material.

NOTE:- Photo's are prior to adding the photo etched railings to the deck.
There is an After Market enhancement detail set available {as a separate item for this kit}, which includes a wooden decking skin.
