This is another of the Tamiya 12 scale Porsche kits, that is also from the mid '70's and recently re issued complete with a photo etched fret, when raced in the Le Mans 24 hour these cars where all white bodies, but Rusty French imported an ex factory Porsche 935 to race in the Australian GT Championship of 1980, {but CAMS in their usual manner banned the car after two meetings}. The Martini Livery Factory cars are either #1 or #3, car #1 was driven by Jacky Ickx and Jochen Mass, this driver partnership lasted 20 years and together with Porsche won several Championships.
NOTE:- This is another of the subjects that will have to wait for some shelving space.
