Me 262 {Rebuild} Empty
PostSubject: Me 262 {Rebuild}   Me 262 {Rebuild} EmptyFri May 31 2013, 03:55

This Revell 72 scale subject was originally built by a past member of the club, who has not been seen for a about 4 years and is another that the club will keep on display, in company with the UH-60b Seahawk and Hawker Typhoon Ib, the model was never finished, and was it painted in the in a strange mauve colour, I stripped the hand painted colours from the subject, cleaned up all the seams and joints and re painted it in the RLM 81/RLM 82 over RLM76, from the Model Master enamel range, the silver added to the lower fuselage and jet intakes are Humbrol #191, the rear jet tube is finished in Tamiya Burnt Iron enamel, I also added nose weights to keep this model on it's undercarriage and have not as yet added horizontal tail planes, or the decals to complete the model subject, the model is built as per the instructions for Blue 3.
