Subject: Hs 129 B1 Tank Buster Fri May 24 2013, 17:02
This 48 scale Hasegawa Hs129 B1 fitted with the 37mm Anti Tank Gun, was the first of the family series from this manufacturer, my subject is an OOB build finished as per kit instruction option 2, which is the North African front scheme of RLM 79 sand RLM 80 mottle over RLM 78 blue. The white theatre wing tips are painted in Model Master Flat White, the upper surface camouflage scheme is from the Xtra Color range of enamels along with the Blue under surfaces, all markings and insignia are from the kit decal sheet. This aircraft type was not very successful in the Desert and all Hs 129 types ended up on the Russian Front, the interior is RLM 66 Dark Grey and all other primmer surfaces and undercarriage legs is RLM 02. Xtra Color enamels are a Gloss finish true to Military standard finishes and are very hard to come across.
NOTE:- Weathering is all pastels. Neil is also building this particular aircraft subject.
